Professional photographer Denise Marie Olson is a lifestyle & sports photographer based in Corning, New York of the Fingerlakes Region.

I love sports. I love watching sports. I love participating in sports. Best of all, I love photographing sports. Unlike taking the shot and posting it, I take the time to create a work of art. Using various blending methods and digital image enhancement features, action comes alive in an artistic kind of way. Other products that I do for sports are collages, posters, gallery wraps and keepsake albums.

Growing up on a small farm outside of Milroy, Minnesota, I became involved with sports at an early age. For a small town girl, that was all we had... Everything from volleyball, basketball, track, softball, and yes cheerleading too!! You name it. After high school I played Volleyball at the University of Dubuque in Iowa... Transferred to Bethany College in West Virginia and played softball. After college I continued playing volleyball with a bunch of ladies with the USVBA of the Ohio Valley and was a slowpitch pitcher for various co-ed softball leagues in Pittsburgh. Up until my third month of being pregnant with my daughter Madison, I've retired from my favorite sport of all time, volleyball, and now only continue fitness efforts, golfing and bowling.
