T-ball...it's all about the butterflies.

Maddie started her softball adventure in the spring of 2011 as a T-ball player for the Pleasanton Girls Fastpitch League.  Collectively the girls came up with the team name, The Butterflys.  Too cute!! And to document the fact that our playing field was all grass, it was appropriate to make a creation with Maddie among butterflies in a field of flowers.  T-ball... its not about playing ball, its all about picking flowers and catching butterflies.  Even cartwheels at times.

The season will be starting soon...

"sick" is a great compliment...

Getting feedback from young men can be a challenge, but when you get a response, you know that you did something right.  Even my own son said the same thing to me yesterday on InstraGRAM with his GAMEOVER photo:  "shout out to @denisemarieolson.  This image is sick."  or something to that extent.  Thanks guys for the "sick" comments!!!!!  Its all heart...

so behind on posting.  the summer days are filled with my crazy kid adventures and SOFTBALL.  who said summer was a vacation???  in the meantime, I'll be putting highlights of the all the softball games and many other sporting events that I have captured since April!!!  stay tuned...  (but if you cannot wait, most of my work goes up pretty fast on my FACEBOOK biz page, as well as the Cinderella FACEBOOK fan page.  I know, its the easy button...but I'm a busy mom... But in the meantime, enjoy my feature athlete, Tanner.  She played in the PREP Division for the Corning Country Club (thanks for the sponsorship!!!!) and for the 10U All Stars.  Always getting in front my camera...  I LOVE freckles!!!

"Play Ball!!!" featuring the Lady Firecrackers...

Well, instead of sitting in the lounge chair sipping lemon drops this past weekend, I designed one of my first books called, "Play Ball!!" to commentate the Lady Firecrackers softball season. This 10x10 20-page album was designed specifically for girls softball in mind; the book can also be used for baseball (just change out the "she" to "he" in some of the poems). If you are a photographer or an avid photoshop user, you have the option to purchase this album template for $35. However, until June 6th, you can purchase this album for only $25!! All templates will be provided in psd format and photos can be inserted using clipping masks. Backgrounds are blank so that you can customize using your own scrapbooking backgrounds and team colors.
